I have read on these forums about a product to help clean gummed up carb called Sea Foam. I went out and bought a can.

It says on the can to mix one pint to eight gallons of gas for carbs with existing problems. I am just curious how strong you guys that have used it mix it for carbs that have existing problems?

Also, do you run all the gas through the engine or do you run it for a while and let it sit and then run it some more?

I am hoping I won't have to remove the carb if this works well.

Thanks for any info.

Generally, the fuel inlet sticks, the mixture screw gets gummed up or an internal passage gets clogged. Carb cleaner should be used as starting fluid, but the engine won't run very well on it.
