It will start but only if you turn the key to the starting position and then just back the key off enough for the starter to disengage. If you keep it in this position it will stay running. As soon as you let it fall back to the running position it stalls. Any ideas?

Tx will know if there is a Ballast resistor, or bypass for full voltage during cranking, or Bad ignition switch.

I'm new here. How can I get the question to him or do I just wait until he see's it?

I was able to change it easily but now the key won't turn at all?

I did and it still won't turn. I even put the old one back on the key tumbler and get the same result.

Did it turn when it was out, if it didn't, it may be the wrong key? Try while applying left and right turning of steering wheel.

It's the right key, but you may be right about turning the wheel. I will try that.
