I have been dating my girl friend for two years, we are both in college. It is a long distance relationship around 2000 miles away. Recently I have had a lot of stress in my life and it is starting to interfere with our relationship. It seems like all we do is argue about how different I am so because of all the stress. I still love her, but I feel different about her and our relationship because of all the stress. I don't think, and she has mentioned that I am not in a good place to be in a relationship, because of how the stress is effecting me. I keep dwelling on this thought and I feel distanced from her and the relationship, I think we should break up because of this, but that really sucks. Any advice helps, thanks.

If that's how you handle stress by pushing your partner away, then you have a problem.

See if this helps some, before you do something wacky.

Yes, you should really think before you react because your going regret it. However, if you keep going the route your going your girlfriend might leave you once she get fed up.

Get to the bottom of what is stressing you out and channel your stress in a different way. Don't let it turn you into a big meanie towards anyone.

When I am stressed I workout or do a little yoga. Sometimes I watch some comedies to help put me in a better mood--laughter is good for your soul.

Being in college and dealing with day-to-day is stressful but you shouldn't allow it to ruin nor interfere with your relationship. Try to come up with a solution quick.

It appears as though you are at a crossroad with your relationship. Things have finally gotten tough between you two. Now you are faced with a decision, take the easy way out and walk away, or grit your teeth and work through the issues and continue on with your otherwise good relationship.

Personally, a relationship needs to hit struggles every once in awhile to make sure you two can solve problems together instead of letting them tear you apart
