My "first love" recently broke up with me and it has taken a huge toll on my mental and physical health and well-being.

I know I need to accept that it's over but a piece of me still longs to be with him and hopes that someday I will be with him again. And no matter how hard I try not to think about him it seems like there is always something reminding me of him... I can't seem to come to terms with the fact that he is no-longer apart of my life and it is tearing me up inside.

Don't worry girl... I know how you feel cause I've been threw it over and over with the same guy but this time, I'm the one who left! You just have to think positive thoughts and always constantly remind yourself that you can do BETTER than him! Believe in yourself and stay strong.. read encouraging scritptures in the Bible and always look forward to better days because they are near :)

I'm in the same boat as you are and the only thing I can say is time is a healer of all of it it takes time but you have to be stronger for it

How old are the two of you and how long have you been together? Why did the relationship end? Unfortunately, very few people in our lives remain there forever. It's just part of the natural order of things ; change happens and we have to be prepared to accept and embrace those changes. I'm sorry you're feeling so down right now, but as the saying goes, when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. It would be helpful to have some more concrete details about your situation like I've asked above.

I know how you feel when my first love and I broke up.. I thought I'd die.. I was heart broken... thought I was incomplete without him... But now I am back on the market lol... but really it hurts for a while but eventually you will be able to think back and say I'm glad I made it

Thank you for the words of encouragement, and you are right that reading scriptures from the bible helps. I have strayed away from God several times and it seems to always put me in a bad place, but once I start following him again I immediately feel better.

Yes, it felt like my world was going to end without him. But it still hasn't, and it's getting better now. Thank you for the words of wisdom and encouragement. God bless

Time really does heal all wounds, I know because I have already begun to feel better, and I don't think about him as much as I did at first...

But even though time heals all wounds, a scar is always left... But it's for the best in my case, because I grew so much as a person from the experience that (even though it sounds crazy) it is best that it worked out the way it did. I hope you have begun to feel better as well. :)

Thanks, God bless

How old are you I'm wondering? Depending on your age, getting through it might be easier than you realize?
