Hello guys!!
I'm helping my friend in writing a debate on "Is Allopathy Better Than The Alternative Methods Of Treatment" where alternative treatment refer to the mothods like homeopathy and ayurveda etc. He has to speak for the motion that is he has to support allopathy. So, I would be very grateful if I Get a few points from you guys.
Please be quick.
I'm sorry for asking this question under this thread but I thought may be the experts of medical science can better deal with this question.
Please help me.

Sorry I can't help. IF it were the other way around I could help but I believe the alternative is better because it goes to the root of the problem whereas allopathy only masks the problem. In fact I believe many people die from many meds but the doctors write their death off as their heart problem rather than the meds.
For example, doctors give meds for bad cholestrol but they do not tell you you need to take Co Q10 to replace the depletion of your body making its own Co Q10 due to the meds.
So in their world you died from your bad cholestrol rather than dying from your body ran out of Co Q10.
Look at all the commericals too. They list so many side effects including suicide it's a wonder anybody is willing to take them.
I truly believe you can reverse cancer with the alternatives. It is a proven fact that often Chemo will kill you before the cancer itself.

But that cudn't help me too...
I'm working for the topic, so I've got to prove allopathy better.
If possible, I'd like a few ponts in favour of that. I think you are online now. If possible, tell me now only or we can have a chat.

All I know is that most people that swear by allopathy are either uninformed, biased or following the crowd and insist that science is the only one with right answers. They insist that alternatives are only placebos.
I found a link that might be helpful
"MEDICINE ON THE FRINGE" (http://www.fiu.edu/~mizrachs/altern-med.html)
It really wish you wanted the other way around. I could be a lot more help

1. Allopathy has technological advances, can buy the patient time in cases of extreme trauma.
2. Allopathic primary care physicians in groups can afford expensive medical equipment and realize other business advantages.
3. Allopathy is what most Caucasians know and trust.
4. Allopathic doctors believe bacteria, viruses and other foreign microbes are the main cause of disease and that the best way to ward off ailments is through the use of drugs and lifestyle changes.
5. Less of an emphasis by allopathic doctors is placed on treating parts of the body that are not giving a person trouble, and more emphasis is placed on treating the infection, illness or discomfort.

Thanks wondergirl...
I'l definitley use a few of your points but it would be more convenient if I get a comparative point between the two kinds of treatment.
I want something that precisely and strongly proves the significance of allopathy...
Please try if you can help me..

Then take each point I gave you and tell what alternative medicines fail at in that regard - that would be comparative. I gave you one side, and the other side is the opposite. Do you need documentation?

1. Allopathy has technological advances, can buy the patient time in cases of extreme trauma. WHAT DO ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS DO? THE PATIENT GETS WORSE OR DIES?
2. Allopathic primary care physicians in groups can afford expensive medical equipment and realize other business advantages. DO ALTERNATIVE PRACTITIONERS PRACTICE IN GROUPS? (NOT USUALLY - THEY ARE LONE RANGERS) MORE COSTLY TREATMENTS RESULT WITH LESS OVERSIGHT AND CONTROLS.
3. Allopathy is what most Caucasians know and trust. CAUCASIANS ARE JUST BEGINNING TO TRY ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE BECAUSE ALLOPATHY IS FAILING THEM, BUT THE HISTORY SAYS CAUCASIANS THOUGHT IT WAS VOODOO.
4. Allopathic doctors believe bacteria, viruses and other foreign microbes are the main cause of disease and that the best way to ward off ailments is through the use of drugs and lifestyle changes. NOT ALTERNATIVE THINKING AT ALL - SO WHAT ARE THE ALTERNATIVE BELIEFS? CHI AND MERIDIANS AND CHANNELS OF ENERGY -- FOREIGN THINKING, WEIRDNESSES TO CAUCASIANS
5. Less of an emphasis by allopathic doctors is placed on treating parts of the body that are not giving a person trouble, and more emphasis is placed on treating the infection, illness or discomfort. ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE IS ALMOST ALWAYS HOLISTIC. TREATMENT IS LESS FOCUSED AND MAYBE TOO GENERALIZED.
