I'am studying to be a home inspector and I can not find the answer to this question in my books, help!
In the service box, the ungrounded service entrance wires should be connected-
a. to the "load" side of the main switch
b. to power the fuses first, then the switch
c. to the "line" side of the main switch
d. one to the switch, and the other to the grounding terminal
e. one to the switch, and the other to the newtral

Before we just give you the answer, which one will you think is correct?

Your book may not give the exact answer as they like to give information and have you figure it out logically.

Those are some weird answers, but sorry, it is not "e".

Thing about what an "ungrounded" conductor is.

Do you know what the grounded conductor is?

One is not weird.

If the book that this course is based on does not have the answer, even subtly, then it should be discarded.
