How can I get rid of the Fat Pockets under my eyes... Please understand these are not "bags" that simple cucumbers or enough sleep will remove... these are FAT POCKETS... I don't want surgery... can they be removed with a needle??

I don't think they can be removed with a needle, if you mean something like liposuction. In plastic surgery they cut and paste.

If you are considering removing the fat under your eye with a needle YOURSELF, PLEASE DO NOT DO IT!!

There are many creams that may help.

St. Ives Eye and Face Stress Gel

Clinique

Some people recommend preparation H on your eyes, but DO NOT DO THIS. Preparation H was designed for your backside, not your eyes.

Some things that might help...

(1) Sleep with your head slightly elevated to minimize fluid retention.

(2) Avoid booze and salty foods, which can cause water retention.

(3) If you have allergies, take antihistamines and don't rub your eyes.

(4) Remove any makeup carefully to avoid getting particles in your eyes.

(5) To avoid dryness that can lead to irritation and puffiness, use a moisturizer. If nothing works and this is a chronic condition, cosmetic surgery may be your only recourse.

jenniepepsi, I don't think the OP was intending to remove the fat pockets with a needle. She was probably referring to what I mentioned, liposuction, which is done with a long needle that sucks all fat cells out and only used on your body, not your face.

Yes prep H is used for under eye but only for puffy eyes from lack of sleep. It works and is not harmful unless it gets in the eyes.

None of what you mention will remove the fat pockets, but all you have mentioned is good damage control for puffy eyes from, say loss of sleep, stress, etc. They are there until plastic surgery removes them.

Hi, jennie, we try not to assume too much without sort of asking a lot of questions first. That way there can be no misunderstandings, bad feelings, arguments, with everyone getting into the pitch.

You guys are great... thanks for all your suggestions... the advise you gave to get rid of puffy eyes do work great... but that is not my problem... it is a fat pocket that won't respond to puffy eye treatment... and no... I promise I will not try a needle myself... and I do thank you for your concern... I guess I will have to learn to love them until I get brave enough for surgery...
