Before I turned 21 I was diagnosed with a mental disability. I have been receiving benefits paid to my mother for me. I now have a child out of wedlock. Can my child receive benefits and if so, will those benefits come from my share of benefits?

You need to go to Social Security Disability Office with the child's birth certificate and discuss this with them. More than likely your child will be able to receive child benefits. You can't do this paperwork over the phone - only in person can the paperwork be properly filed.
