View Full Version : 95 honda civic loses fuel pressure

I have a 95 Honda Civic recently it wouldn't start we replaced the fuel pump and the relay. It ended up being the ECM. The car ran great for a couple days then I drove it about five miles down the road and the gas gauge just dropped from half tank to empty and it stopped getting gas then just as fast as it dropped it went back up to half a tank and ran good for a second. It continued to do this the rest of the way home. Any suggestions Thank you

. Remove and clean the fuse, in the under dash fuse box, going to the fuel gauge sending unit. If the problem persists, inspect the fuel gauge sending unit--it's located next to the fuel pump.

. Clean the main ECM ground, located on the thermostat housing.
