Yes... its sad...
My prayers are with his family and children.
I may not have always agreed with michael jackson, nor aproved of his life choices or decisions... but it's a sad thing to die... and no one deserves to die like that... not at 50...

My local news site (azfamily.com) has a story on him going into cardiac arrest and being rushed to the hopsital. But no updates yet.

Goodbye Michael. Although I didn't like his personality he was a great artist. He will be missed.
The saddest thing about Michael was how the fame affected him.
We know that he had many personal issues and I can't even begin to imagine what his life was like to cause him to behave the way he did.
That said, he was an incredible artist, that has left a huge mark on the world.
In my opinion he has contributed all he had to the world that he could.
I fear he had fallen too far from reality.
I mourn his untimely death, but know that every life serves a purpose.
I pray for his children.

Favorite Jackson 5: I Want You Back
The Way You Make Me Feel is probably my favorite. I've already offered my condolences yesterday so on to the next step, why? It appears possibly to be drug-related according to the family spokesman:
Brian Oxman told reporters: "I have been very critical of the use of pain medications.
"I have told people in no uncertain terms that if Michael one day woke up and he was dead I would not be silent, I would not permit this to go unchallenged."
I wouldn't be silent either if someone woke up and they were dead but that's another story. What an enormous talent, big as Elvis if you ask me... and just as tragic a life.

His music is the soundtrack of my childhood. Every song brings back memories.
I saw him in concert at Madison Square Garden in 2001 - which turned out to be his final concert. His talent was unbelievable. Non stop dancing, no lip syncing. He came alive on the stage like no one else I have ever seen.

When I was a kid my mom told me she was going to my aunts house for the night. SHE LIED SHE WENT TO THE VICTORY TOUR WITH OUT ME!! I have never forgiving her for that. I love all Michael Jackson songs but Rock with you is my all time favorite. You should have seen my wife's reaction one day when she came in the house and I had the surround sound cranked all the way up singing Rock with you. She didn't know I liked him that much.

Some? More like most. I pretty much hate all the new artists (Miley Cyrus, Lil Wayne, ETC). I like to think of myself as a Classic Rock kind of girl. Black Sabbath, The Cramps, The Mamas and The Papas (Blast from the Past!) , Credence Clearwater Rivial, The Gories, Alice Cooper, and Queen to name a few. As I already stated, Im not a MJ fan, but I do know what he has accomplished in the music business.

To be honest I never understood celebrity worship.
I liked his stuff from the 70s, 80s. I'm 7 years his junior so songs like "Don't stop till you get enough," or "Billie Jean" really are markers of my adolescence. Between him and Farrah dying in the same day, it feels like part of my youth dying.
Sure he was weird, but what he contributed to most our lives is more than just average person. For that reason his passing is sad and shocking and deserves respect.
God bless Michael Jackson.

Yes, he was, and I don't begrudge him that; after all he did the moonwalk ;) before I did.
Despite that, he did not seem happy with himself. No amount of money is worth his seeming general unhappiness.

Despite that, he did not seem happy with himself. No amount of money is worth his seeming general unhappiness.
Like many celebs he surrounded himself with blook suckers who did not have his best interest in mind.
Check out the NY Post description of his condition at the time of his death:
An autopsy on Michael Jackson revealed that the King of Pop's emaciated body was riddled with needle marks and scars, and his head was virtually bald, it was reported today.
Jackson's body had wasted away to a mere 112 pounds, and his stomach was completely empty except for partially dissolved pills, according to the London Sun.
His hips, thighs and shoulders were covered with needle wounds, believed to have come from shots of painkillers, and he was wearing a wig when he was found because his hair had been reduced to a "peach fuzz" on his scalp, the report said.
"He was skin and bone, his hair had fallen out, and he had been eating nothing but pills when he died," a source close to the singer's entourage told the paper.
"Injection marks all over his body and the disfigurement caused by years of plastic surgery show he'd been in terminal decline for some years."
There were four fresh injections around his heart, presumably from attempts to pump adrenaline into it to jumpstart it, the paper said.
Three of them had penetrated and damaged his heart wall, while a fourth struck his ribs, the paper reported.
He also sustained several broken ribs while authorities administered CPR during his final moments Thursday.
Jackson had one spot above his left ear that was scarred and completely bald - the apparent result of burns sustained when his hair caught fire while he was filming a Pepsi commercial in 1984.
He also had numerous other scars, apparently from plastic surgery.
In addition, he had mysterious bruises on his knees and shins and cuts on his back, possibly indicating a recent fall, the paper said.

I thought he was brilliant, a GREAT humanitarian that did nothing but strive to see the world become a better place which he only had turned around to make him look bad.. poor mike.. he didn't realize that he himself already made the world a much better place. Wow has anyone seen this?
Is this the ghost of Michael Jackson?
Posted Mon Jul 6, 2009 1:45am PDT by Mitch Carter
Michael Jackson fans are up in arms after a ghostly apparition was caught on camera at the late star's Neverland ranch.
The image was captured whilst a camera crew filmed inside Neverland for a special edition of the Larry King Live show.
A shadowy figure can be seen crossing one of the corridors and appears to have its head tilted forward causing some to draw comparisons with Jackson's posture.
The alleged supernatural sighting is the latest in a string of bizarre Jackson rumors to sweep the internet following his death nearly two weeks ago including speculation that Jackson faked his own death and that he will be buried without his brain.
Do you think this is really the ghost of Michael Jackson? Could there be another explanation or perhaps another specter is haunting the corridors of Neverland.
Supposedly it's Michael Jackson's ghost at his residence, here is a link to the vid:

One of the first things I asked my wife after his death was, "how long before a Michael Jackson sighting?" Apparently not long. Maybe he and Elvis can get together and have a farewell tour.
Or, Papa Joe can just send the grandkids out as the Jackson 3 (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/michael-jackson/5814043/Joe-Jackson-wants-Michaels-children-to-tour-as-The-Jackson-Three.html)...

Hundreds of millions to charities. I understand people that have their own opinions but I wish they would try to see what he did. He wanted to stop fighting and violence like many others. He loved children aside from what he was accused of. IF he did do it, I forgive him. Sorry. It doesn't take away from him. He really cared and had a great impact on the world. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but I grew up with him and I can identify with a lot of things. So can so many others. I know there are A LOT of talented people out there and people who care but what can I say? I just love him and did not ever want to live to see the day where this happened. I loved him even when his looks changed because of what (I felt or thought) was is his heart. I know I know, there are more important things going on in the world and I feel for anyone that has lost someone. Believe me, I do.

Awwwwwww. Blanket. (If I am correct). Lot of people also didn't know he was even a father. And a good father.
He was even more but I feel for the children and the family.
Michael genuinely cared so much for the children of the world many years before the accusations. Did I mention that he left a bunch to children's charities in his will? I will have to go back and check. Funny, song on now... " The day the music died." Sorry... Don't mean to carry on. I hurt. I am not a family member of course but geeeeesh. Is anyone with me here? I feel selfish. I just loved him so much and how much he touched people's lives. Course he was a GREAT entertainer. I'm an artist but you sure don't have to be one to understand... Blaaaaaaah. I miss him but Thank G, we had him and we have his music and spirit. Just wish people would do what he wished but guess what? I'm no saint. LOL.
Miss him really very much.

Maybe I should go to the darn mental health board crazychick. Know why? It's after 5am by me and I'm listening to his music. I think I have lost it. I was in shock for quite some time. Believe me, I know some people don't understand but geeeeeesh I am really hurting for some stupid reason. Maybe cause it brings me back to my days with my family or something. I don't know. I just know I hurt and miss him no matter what. I usually try to help people and there is really only one person on here that I PM regularly but I don't know, must be some weird thing. I will figure it out I guess. Sometimes, and I notice this from other members, maybe I just need to vent, get it out, cause you know nothing would be worse than losing a family member right?? And so many people unfortunately have. OK, OK, I'll shaddup now! :) I miss him so much.

I'm not really going to miss him as I never really cared for his music that much. Sure he had some "hits" now and then and sold a bunch of records, but really, why is everyone so upset about a singer dying? He definitely will make more money now that he's dead than when he was alive - just like Elvis did/is still doing.
As for the sighting? Oh please. Anything to keep the media plug going for him. And each newscast has more and more "intimate revelations" about him. Just another way to sell more rag sheets or get higher TV ratings. In a few weeks he's going to literally be "history" and relegated to the supermarket taboids. His death has turned into more of a circus than when he was alive! Who cares just who the father of his kids are? What bizarre names for kids. He was obviously a mind controlled entertainer that "bonded" with his handler who just happened to be an older white European woman who was in the military. The handlers identities came out in the way he would mimic their appearance and clothing such as crests on his jackets and arm bands on his sleeves. He was a mind controller's dream subject that went haywire.

Ohh, trmpldonagn, we all need our time to... recooperate haha but yes you don't make things quite lengthy... but its okay, you're not the only one, my mother does it all the time... oh my goodness someone please save me from those speeches lol haha jk, but I guess it just seems unrealistic how he died. He was here one moment and the next poof, he was gone. We wi always love his music and feel for his family and friends, but I bet that his children will grow up wanting to live in his footsteps. I don't know, that's just me.

But, Exie, I heard he had a selection of fake noses to choose from in his closet. How creepy is that? Really creepy. Let's see, I'll wear this nose Monday, that nose Tuesday, etc. and the one that turns up at the end for Saturday night.

Very. I agree.
Everybody has their own problems and such of that, doesn't mean we need to judge them, I think the judging is up to god, not us.

Happy Birthday Michael!!
You are the gift. Not just because of the hundreds of millions of dollars you gave to charity and what you left behind for charity. Not just for being a world humanitarian. Not just for being the best entertainer that has ever lived. Not just for reaching out to so many people and being genuinely sincere all of the time. There are countless other reasons.
You gave a true gift from your heart that some can't or won't understand. It is unfortunate that some may just never know everything about you and the impact you had on the world and the entire human race. You couldn't make the earth or the world perfect and at peace like others have tried. But you tried and tried and tried. Unfortunately, there is and may always be a lot of ignorance out there. It is a shame.
I will forever treasure you in my heart and soul. You were and are a true artist.
You are loved by hundreds of millions and will be forever. Thank you for your countless gifts and the gift of you!
Happy Birthday Michael Jackson!

You're very welcome. There's so much more but my posts are usually long enough. It does stink that some, not all, people have to belittle him or put him down in an attempt to make themselves feel or look better. Michael was untouchable and unreachable. That scared some people so to augment themselves that's what they do. Some just didn't or won't take the time to really get to know him or who he really was. Everything he did was monumental and there were indeed some jealous people. He is and was what they say- The best entertainer on this planet who ever lived and we may never see another like him ever. Also he genuinely cared so much about people and the world. He's a better person than me because a lot of people can just kiss my a$$.
God Bless!

Your celebrity worship is scary. When you meet him and spend time with him?

Yes actually I did. He was a genius in every sense of the word. It's impressive enough what he is in guinness for besides all of his charity work.
When a choreographer is rehearsing with 100 dancers and just one dancer makes a tiny mistake, he did not see it. He heard it. He was able to walk over to that person and know exactly what she did wrong. He wasn't mean about it. It's just an example of what a genius he was. Many other reasons. I'm an artist but you don't have to be in order to understand.
I grew up with him like so many others. You would have had to follow him, know him, and be a true fan to even begin to understand the pain of such a tremendous loss. I don't dwell on it. It's just something I feel strong about obviously. Smiles at you...
But everyone is entitled to their opinion of course. I just wish some people would take the time to really understand everything about him before judging. There really is a lot to know.
Peace

I didn't know that you met him since he was pretty in seclusion most of the time. I listened to his music from the Jackson 5 days, I eevn went to the Jacksons reunion concert. In the end he was a little creepy and another entertainer.
But I do love Miley Cirus - and her contribution to music will continue forever!

Millions of people including us of course "Never can say good-bye." I miss him too. Lost 20 pounds over that. He almost passed away much much sooner and thankfully he didn't because he gave the world so much more and not just his money. And as if that wasn't enough. There is so much that people just didn't know and could not have known about him. So terrible for the family naturally.
It does sound ridiculous but his death is what got me dancing again and doing choreography. As my brother told me it just goes to show how things can change and that we must do what we want to do now or what we were meant to do. I know it shouldn't be his death alone but that is what did it.
I love your signature. And don't worry. He had a library full of music that has yet to be released. "Maybe Tomorrow". ;) That song is so fitting for him as are so many others of his. So in a way, it is almost as if he is still here. He will never really ever be completely gone. Impossible. Unless the world comes to an end, he (his music and his entire history along w/unfortunately the negative-a mental condition that is too deep to explain right now IF he did do those things) will live forever.
