HI,
I have a top electrical stove and a double electrical wall oven. Both were on while I was cooking dinner. I heard a POP and both went off. The circuit breaker on the main electrical panel in the house did not flip. It is a double switch with 50 on it.
I had he stove top on yesterday too, just one burner. Not sure about any other appliances, but the circuit breaker switch flipped to OFF. I did not notice anything else, only that my tea pot was taking too long. I reset the breaker and turned on the stove again. It worked fine after that for tea, breakfast and lunch. The stove is 2-3 yrs old the oven is ancient. They are on the same breaker and this has not happened ever before.
Thank you for any ideas. I am not sure whether we can fiddle with something ourselves or call for an appliance repairman or an electrician.
