Hello,

I have a PVC toilet flange without the ring that goes on the outside. I am trying to snap a new ring onto it but it just won't go on it is very frustrating. I push and push and use a rubber mallet and it just won't go on. Does anyone have any tips on getting this ring on?

Thank you.

This is the product I would recommend: Flange Support Kit (http://www.quickfixplumbingproducts.com/toilet%20floor%20support%20flange.htm)

Hi thank you for the answer. I don't think that is what I need though unless it replaces the whole piece. What happened is that the flange funnel looking part is still good and it is in the floor and everything mataches up to the right height. What the problem is that it is missing the ring that goes around the outside. The part that spins around in the new ones where you put the bolts to. The pipe part has a groove around it and I know it is supposed to snap down and push into it. There is nothing blocking the way but I just can't get it on I'm not sure how it will ever go on over the top to get into that grove.
