My lawn sprinkler system is connected to a well. The pump continues to cycle on, even when there is no water in use. Do I have a leak somewhere?

DJ, you almost certainly have a leak somewhere, possibly in the checkvalve. You can check this in simple fashion, assuming you are able to turn off the water going away from the tank to your sprinklers. If so, then turn off the water and watch the pressure valve. It should hold steady. If it is steadily dropping, then you have a leaking checkvalve. If it holds steady, then turn your valve back on to the sprinklers. If it starts dropping at that time, then your leak is occurring "after" the valve.
If it holds steady in both cases, and the pump still tends to go off/on for short bursts, then you start to suspect the switch.
