Candle stubs, not studs.

So what have you come up with? (Hint -- Draw a picture for each problem.)

end of 5 days = 1/3 of the problems done.
end of 6 days = twice that many additional problems done. So, how many problems have been done.

16 candles yield 16 stubs. How many stubs per new candle? And, how many new candles from a stub?
