I have a Daily Activity Report form that I need to scan and then send to Word as a document that can be filled out on a daily basis. I have scanned this and sent it to Word but I am not able to do any typing on this form. What do I need to do to make it a template, or whatever, so that I can type in our daily reports?

You need an Optical Character Recognition program.

Often scanners come with these programs. There are better ones, but they come at a price. The link, above, contains a list of most of the common OCR programs.
