I have a 18horse B&S engine. When I try to start it, it will fire up, but then it quits. Also if I get it to stay running it will only run with the choke on. As soon as I open the choke it quits.

Opposed twin or V-twin? Got some numbers on that engine. It does matter though it is obviously a fuel delivery problem.
