Earlier this year one of my friends introduced me to a friend of hers named mary. The more I talked to her the more I became intrigued by her and the more I wanted to know about her. She expresses small interest but even more interest in knowing what the initials of my name mean. So I asked her out through a hand crafted invitation (in which she had to choose one of three dates) and purple rose surprise. When she received the invite she said she loved them and that she'd let me know later that night which one she had chosen. The next day she tells me she has a boyfriend. So time goes on I text her occasionally to say hi. One time I told her I was changing the name of my business, then she jokingly suggested that I change it to her name. Now, the other day she text me, then called me. We talked for about an hour discovering that we have a lot in common. I'm not too sure what to make of this. Is she feeling me on strictly of friend level or what?

The next day she tells me she has a boyfriend.

If this one sentence was not there, I'd tell you that it sounds like she is interested and to go for it. But unfortunately it is. So until there is an update in her relationship status (no longer has a boyfriend), you need to lay low and keep it at a platonic level.

There's not much to make of anything. She has a boyfriend, so she's off limits.

Don't misinterpret her friendship with you as anything more. Don't over-analyse all the little details and don't twist her actions into thinking that she has feelings for you.
