Is it normal for a teenager to be obsessed with boys and sex and stuff? Because that's all that's in my head! My head is full of un-needed rubbish. But being obsessed with something is part of growing up. Isn't it?

How old of a teen are you hon :)
Generally yes, its normal. Its not nessisarily rubbish. But it depends. What KIND of thoughts are in your head? If your not too embarrassed, be specific. None of us know you in real life :) so your secret is safe with us :)

It's "normal" to wild teen hormones race through your body as your developing causing you to become curious of the sexual world.
It is "normal" for teens to become curious of the opposite or even the same sex.
Just remember to occupy your time with other things than the Jonas Brothers or Zac Efron.
Being obsessed is never "normal".

You may need to learn cognitive control , or at the very least self control. Talk to a counsellor, as you may develop a serious issue with sex. If you can't control your thoughts you are not in control at all. Go see a psychologist if necessarry. Though, teens do think about sex a lot, apparently men do every 3 seconds but I know I don't so maybe I"m a bit odd.
If you can distract your self or teach yourself to take your mind off of it, the more you practice the less you'll think abou it. If you are curious about it, read up on it and learn abou it so it's not something you feel so curious about. You may also be feeling the effects of the biologivcal urge to "make babies." But best to wait till you're old for that. Have some fun first, eh?;)

A good rule of thumb with obsessive thoughts is to take a good look at how its affecting your life.
If you can't study, sleep, eat, enjoy normal everyday activities and friends, or if you can't find any enjoyment in life and find yourself finding time to 'think' about a certain subject, then it may indeed be time to seek counselling.
Repetative thoughts without resolve or logic that you cannot control, and that disrupt an otherwise normal, active life, should be taken seriously if it persists.
