My garage door seems to have lost power somewhere. I don't have power from my remote in the garage, the keypad on the garage door, or either car remotes. I know I have power in the plug-in that it is connected to, but can't seem to figure out the problem - could a battery be out somewhere and shut the whole thing down? So Frustrating!

Sounds like a breaker. Most garage door openers have a mini "breaker" on them (like the one on a garbage disposer) that can get tripped. Look for a button on it that says "reset".
Let us know if that does it.

Can you tell me approx. where this would be? I only see a button on the back of it to reset the transmitters and apparently that isn't working either. Do I need to take the entire cover off the opener and find it in the inside of the opener?

Sorry, but I'm not sure where to point you next. If you don't have your owner manual, tell us the make and model of the opener and we'll see if we can help you find one online.
Also, since this is an electrical issue, I'll move this thread to the Electrical Forum where our Electrical Experts can take a gander at it.

Usually resets are fairly obvious. If you don't see one, check all the connections. The wiring is often small gauge solid wire and breaks easily. Sometimes a broken wire is hidden in the insulation. Check for very flexible spots.
If that doesn't turn up anything, unplug it, take the cover off, and follow the power to where it stops. A relay may have gone bad.
