Gentlemen... turned air on for the 1st time this year. a/c unit outside fires up fine... but blower in furnace does not. Replaced thermostat during winter because blower would not shut off. After installation furnace worked as it should. I must have wired thermostat wrong? Thanks for any and all info!! Tony:D:confused:

Sounds like you have a bad fan relay.

Josh... thanks. Question... I have 4 wires coming to thermo.. red/white/yellow and black. Black is ground? Also... fired up furnace blower kicked on as it should have/blew hot. Is there separate switches for a/c blower and heat? Ty:eek:

Yes the heat blower and the cool blower a controlled by separated things. Black is porbally fan, is it hooked to g or to c? It is common if it is hooked to b or c
