Is it possible to get a physical therapy aide license in NY with a felony drug conviction?

I don't know for certain but being someone who visits peoples homes, my record had to be clean and I did have a background check done as a stipulation of my job.

I would say that if you want to pursue this type of job, your place of employment would want a background check done as well and if a felony drug related charge is shown then I don't think that is possible. I guess though, it all depends on when this offence occurred and when it would be wiped off your criminal record.

I'm not sure but if it's just one felony conviction, a certificate of relief might help you with getting a license.

Hello m:

Personally, I don't know.. However, we have a nurse expert here who continually states that NO medical license whatsoever would be issued to ANYONE with a felony conviction in ANY state.

I believe her.

Now if you were to receive a pardon, then you could get any license anywhere.
