So my cat, Aurora, has not been acting herself latley at all. She was in heat about 3/4 weeks ago. She got out for a night. So latley she has become the most clingy and lovable cat towards me. She needs to know and go wherever I go. She even has to follow me into the bathroom to take a shower. If I don't let her in she just crys at the door... breaks my heart. She has been sleeping a lot more also. Just in the past couple days I noticed her belly has gotten harder. She has also put on a few pounds. She eats about 3/4 cup of dry indoor formula cat food a day.. but she also eats and drinks whatever I do. This includes:pepsi, choco milk, ice cream, pudding, chips, chicken, fish, literally everything I eat I have to share with her. She has also been shedding a little bit more. I don't know if its due to summer finally being here or what. I've checked the internet for pregnancy symptoms... I guess she has a few. I just want to make sure. I'm 8 months pregnant myself.. maybe she just knows that is just making me feel better. Who knows. I just want to get some sort of idea of what culd be going on with my girl.

Does she have access to male cats? Sounds like she could be pregnant.
How old is she? I would strongly suggest getting her spayed in the future.

She has access to outside from 10-6. other than that she's inside. But I'm sure there are male cats out there. I'm not sure how old she is. I found her in my grandparents barn back in November and she lost her baby teeth in April.that is all I have on her age. I was supposed to go get her spayed in the next couple weeks. I just moved and I was still trying to find a vet that I could afford out here. But now I don't want her to get spayed if she is pregnant

I know it's a touchy subject, but you can still get her spayed. With the thousands of kittens (yes kittens) being euthanized in shelters.. it's not a good time to bring more into this world.

BUT! I understand if it is not something you want to go through, but be sure she doesn't go back outside until she is! :)

I know my husband said the same thing. I know because in this military housing we are in we can only have one more animal. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do guess I should make my mind up really soon. Thank you
