I have been having sharp pains on side of left foot. My legs feel like they weigh 300#'s a piece. They feel better when elevated; but does not cure foot pain. I am not diabetic. Could this be bad circulation?

I think you should go to your doctor. The pain in your foot could be from poor circulation in your legs. That would explain why your legs feel heavy. This is almost the same thing my mother experienced, and she is doing great now. Good Luck, I wish you well.

Poor arterial [ blood going from the heart to the body ] circulation [ pad ] would be manifested as pain in your legs with activity [ prolonged walking, running ], since the demand for blood cannot be met by poor circulation. Also keeping your legs up may aggravate poor circulation because gravity does not help circulation to the foot/ leg compared to when you are standing or your feet are not elevated.
Poor VENOUS [ blood going from the body back to the heart ] may be your problem. Gravity keeps the blood more in your legs when they are NOT elevated or when you are standing. Your legs and feet may swell in this position and by elevating your legs and feet you are helping blood flow back to the heart.
There are dozens or more conditions, or even medicines, that may cause this.
You should see your doctor for a full evaluation.
