I have a rheem heating and air conditioning unit and the air conditioning continue to run . During the day the unit run, its blowing cool air but the temperature go up. I turn it off and turn it back on in the evening when the sun goes down it still run for a long time but the temperature do drop. So can some please help me with this problem.

Your unit could be low on freon. Have a serviceperson check it out as at this point all you are doing is wasting electricity and the unit is not properly cooling off your home.

You could have a dirty filter or indoor coil causing the coil to be starved for air. Or you could be low on refridgerant. Or you could have multiple things going on. Get your unit a maintenance by an hvac company. They can go through everything and let you know exactly what is wrong.
