What can you do if you find baby racoons? Who will take them?

If you know for a fact that their mom got run over by a car, then you can contact the Fish and Game folks in your area. Depending on just how young they are, they may be able to fend for themselves if they are just youngsters and not smallish babies. Contact the nice folks at Fish and Game or your Wildlife Officer. Do not call the ASPCA as they won't take them.
I have a band of raccoons that have been coming to my back porch for over 6 years. Each year around this time they bring up their babies. If yours can get around, and you know some other raccoons are in the vicinity, the other raccoons will take care of the babies and raise them. I sometimes would see different females with the entire baby population with her knowing full well that she only had 2 babies but had all 6 with her and the other females were no where to be found.

Raccoons are very good moms, but they can be absent when foraging for food.
Are you sure the mom is no longer around? Wait a while to make sure Mommy doesn't come back.
Too many people see baby wildlife alone and assume that the parents are gone when in fact they aren't.
