Me and my husband are married in the Philippines. We've been married for 12 years now and my husband wanted a divoce. He's a US citizen for a long time and I am a US citizen now too. MY question is, how can we get out in the marriage? Is there a possibility that we can file a divorce in Las Vegas where we live now for 7 years?

If you reside in Las Vegas, that is where you need to get divorced.

I heard about this before, yes that is possible and it will be easier on your end because you are both in the U.S. Just hire a divorce lawyer in Las Vegas.

You are suppose to file for divorce in Las Vegas. It makes no difference where in the world you were married.

Correct, you file for divorce in the location where you have established residence. If you live in Vegas that is where you will file for divorce. Where you got married does not matter

Ignore your marriage that took place in the Philippines. You will stay married in the Philippines but you are not going back there anyway.
