For years I've had a few small red spots mostly on chest but two on forehead at hairline. Over time it seems ever more are slowly forming. Newer spots are bright red and the size of a pinpoint, hardly noticeable. Older spots are a darker red, slightly raised and the size of a pinhead. They don't itch or otherwise bother me. I'm mid-40 and male.

I have the same thing. I have one near my hairline and one near my chest. I have no idea what it is and I just think they're not cosmetically pleasing, especially on the face. I want to get rid of them. Nobody seems to know what this is

Sounds like what I've been researching just now (had them for years) go to Google images and type in "Cherry Angioma" and have a look at the pics. They're also known as blood spots/freckles - not harmful but can be removed by a dermatologist. Lot more common in men apparently (I remember my father had them as well)
