I watched a movie in which there is a whole different world of a monster with a very long tongue tongue. There is a single mom who kills the monster and also stabs a knife on the tongue of the monster. There is a scene in which the monster stands on the highway with fast moving cars. Also the monster is bald with manly features but dangerous face. Most important hint is that the mom eats some kinds of tablet beneath the bed to enter the world of monster. There is also a child after whom the monster was.

Please help me find this movie.

I'm not sure but some parts sound like the movie "Drop Dead Fred"
