I'm a sucker too, Lisa! It's beautiful!
I have an 8 year old daughter. The two of us were outside, jumping up and down together and pointing. :)
I'm always amazed at just what God can do. :)
That is an AWESOME way to describe it!

Sometimes if I'm on the highway in the evenings and I see the purplish/orangey sunset I always wish I could snap a pic and capture it in time.
But then again, taking a picture while driving... I'm not trying to go meet God just yet! So I try to be careful.
Maybe I'll see something so I can post here as well. This was a great idea!

I was so excited that I actually had a camera nearby and remembered to use it! And then I just had to share it. :)
Now if only I could find that pot o' gold...

I'll help you look for it! :D
I really would love to capture lightning. Might be a little dangerous though. I've seen great pictures of it but I'd like to take my own.

That is just beautiful Lisa. I've only seen a handful of double rainbows in my time. The last time I saw a double rainbow I was heading back to my house in a car and it looked like the pot of gold was at my house! That was one of the clearest, brightest double rainbows I have ever seen in my life. The rainbow lasted for about 10 minutes! Yours looks lovely as well.

Twinkie, standing there looking at it made me feel as young as my daughter. :)

Jennie, it's been raining here almost every day for weeks now. I think we got that rainbow as a reminder that there's still a sun out there somewhere and it'll come back eventually and we should just hang in there.

I just found this thread and all I can say is "WOW".
I never seen a rainbow in the sky like that where I lived. I guess the building were too tall. However I have seen some on the sidewalks.

LOL! I love rainbows too!
The pic you posted Shazzy, it seems... odd to me  The bright rainbow seems too... 'bright' or maybe that's how it is in the other countries...
Btw, Have you ever seen a complete rainbow? I mean, not with the form of an arc, but circular. I have once 'made' one. It was some hours before sunset, so that the sun was behind me, then I took a water spray and 'made' a cloud of water droplets in front of me (the sun is still behind me) It was rather small, but... WOW! :p

I saw a complete natural one, once. I was in the Appalachians, looking over a bluff as the sun came out behind us over a misty valley.
Names don't matter, there is a God.

I have only ever seen a couple of full rainbows, usually they are just arcs.
Seeing double ones is awesome ;)
I'm not sure if that picture I posted is real or not (I googled) but I have seen them like that before
