View Full Version : My 1993 Del Sol type S isn't starting!

I don't know that much about cars, but I was practicing with it and stalled. Afterwards the car wouldn't start. I might've stalled a few times before too. HELP! Anyone..! :(

. For a "crank but won't start situation":
If the Check Engine Light comes on and goes off after two seconds, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II), the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil likely need replacing:

During the two second interval, do you hear the fuel pump in the gas tank run?
If you prefer, perform all tests in Sections A and B:

Yes I hear the fuel pump in the gas tank run... Is that a good thing or bad?. Well I'm going to try to buy a new icm and coil... I hope its not to expensive... Thank you're help!. I'll tell you if I can get it to run.

Wait would you say that this can be done by anybody or should I have a mechanic do it for me?
