Hi,

I have a two story 5 yr old house and has central heating system. The first floor has master a/c control and second floor the slave a/s unit.
The problem is whenever the a/c unit is on the apart from the a/c low noise, the walls, room doors when closed and ceiling filters vibrates. It is very annoying vibration and can be felt through the furnitures touching wall. Is there any solution for this problem? The problem was not evident until after first two years.

Thanks, I appreciate it!

Is this unit in the attic? Could need some new rubber insulators under the unit. Or it may be time for a new motor

Thanks Joshdta for your response! Yes the A/c unit is in the roof attic. So far we haven't had any problem regulating temperature in both floors, so I guess the motor is working fine.

As the motor wears out it may cause the blower wheel to shake, causing your vibration. But like I said it may be a simple as adding new rubber feet under the unit.
