I just installed a hampton bay redington IV ceiling fan w lights. I can get the lights to work with the remote, but I can't get the fan to work manually or with the remote.

Does the fan have a reverse switch on the body at all, or is it reversed from the remote? Check to be sure the reverse switch is properly seated.

ALSO, was the receiver wired in place or is it built into the fan?
