We have a Harbor Breeze model #136954. It has a remote and no pull chains. The remote "sensor" is not part of the fan assembly, but a separate unit that rests up inside the canopy in the mounting bracket. There are green (ground), black, white and red wires coming from the house. There are one white and one black wire on one side of the remote sensor and the other side has a black, white and blue wire. There is only one wall light switch to operate. We can get the light to come on, but not the fan. We have installed a brand new battery in the remote. Any help with where our wires may be crossed would be so greatly appreciated. TY in advance.

With only 1 swtich on the wall, I would say that the red wire isn't connected to anything.

Connect the black wire from the house to the black wire on the remote sensor, then connect the white to the white. Now, you are left with the 3 wires from the other side of the sensor. You also have 3 wires from the fan. Connect the white to white, the black to the black and the blue should connect to the black/white striped wire. Usually, the blue wire is the light but w/out seeing it I can't really be sure.

Actually the remote "sensor" was bad - got a new one and all is good now - thank you for your reply though

Yeah they do tend to go bad. Glad you got it working.
