I was referred for massage therapy by my doctor, I only went once but she gave me a receipt and credit card receipt. I went to claim it as part of my medical, with my prescriptions but the tax preparer told me that massage therapy could not be claimed in Nova Scotia. However, a short time later a friend of mine was telling me she had to go back to massage therapy for her back and I told her I didn't go back and that I couldn't claim it because of what the woman had told me. My friend told me that it wasn't true and that she had been claiming it for years. I cannot find anything online about what is claimable in this regard. Is it claimable?

Nova Scotia is part of Canads, so you are asking a question about the Canadian tax system.

This forum deals ONLY with U.S. taxes.

Just by glancing at the questions posted I thought you could ask from all over.
