I need to develop SMART objectives, and marketing strategies for the primary target market for a coffee shop.

Mmmmm, let me think. Where is the coffee shop located ? Is it in a strip mall, on a highway outlet ? It all makes a difference. Different traffic (of people), etc.

Hi, mkaragirova!

Is this for a business that you're going to actually run? Or, is this an assignment for a class at school?

What is quoted below, is from the following site.

SMART Objectives (http://www.learnmarketing.net/smart.htm)

Perhaps knowing what SMART Objectives stands for will help you to get started on your project.

A simple acronym used to set objectives is called SMART objectives. SMART stands for:

1. Specific – Objectives should specify what they want to achieve.
2. Measurable – You should be able to measure whether you are meeting the objectives or not.
3. Achievable - Are the objectives you set, achievable and attainable?
4. Realistic – Can you realistically achieve the objectives with the resources you have?
5. Time – When do you want to achieve the set objectives?

It would seem to me, that the first thing that needs to be completed and accomplished, would be the development of a workable business plan.

Have you already developed the business plan?

Thanks!
