I have lived with my ex boyfriend for about 3 years we have a 2 year old son my boy friend never could hold a job . I have worked full time and my ex is married to someone else. He has now left and has no plans to come back but he wants the child for the summer so that the child want forget who he is.does he have rights to do this.

You need to go to court and establish visitation. He does have rights to see his child but not necessarily just to take him for the summer. If you go to court and have a court order then you can work out when you will have your child and when he will have your child with him.
