Dear all,

I had a breast lump removal surgery two weeks ago, and thanks God it shows no malignancy and was only Fibrocystic disease, the whole mass was removed from an incision under my arm pit near the breast,,

The problem is, the area arownd the incision is still swallowed and tender and the skin is so numbed I tried to put an ice cube on it and I did't feel the cold, is that normal? And for how long this will last?

Thanks

Sireen

If any nerve endings were removed it will stay numb. If the incision is still swollen after 2 weeks it is best to seek medical attention.

Thank you for your concern. It was over 12 years ago and probably the best thing that ever happened to me. ;):D
