I am replacing an old standard Honeywell thermostat (model T8034C) with a Hunter programmable digital model 44110.

I have a 5-wire system. The wires are color coded and the Honeywell labels match the wire colors. Those are:

White, Yellow, Green, Orange, and Red. THe only labels on the Honeywell thermostats are W, Y, G, O, & R.

The Hunter thermostat has a place for the White, Yellow, and Green wires.

But on the other two terminals, it is labeled RH & RC (heat & cool).

The instructions for the Hunter thermostat say to use the wires that were labeled RH & RC on the old thermostat. Unfortunately the Honeywell thermostat did not have functional labels.

Does anyone know which color wire - the Orange or the Red ("O" or "R" as Honeywell refers to them) is the RC wire, and which is the RH wire?
