My pressure assist toilet has what feels like a small hole in the pressure assist mechanism. I can reach down on the front inside and feel the water escaping. It sounds like water running out of a faucet.
It does not leak externally.
Can this be fixed or do I have to replace the unit?
Thanks for your help.

It's a Sloan Flushmate, Model M-101526-F, Series 501 B

If I am not mistaken, Sloan ran into troubles few years back and has been purchased by Kohler. The Sloan pressure tank had recall on pressure tanks for some time now. There were few tanks that exploded so they are very careful about ignoring this type of problems. If you call Kohler they will send you entire pressure tank for free. Call 1-800-4KOHLER

This is in an American Standard outside? Does that matter? When I called American Standard a while back, they said to call Sloan.

These pressure tanks were originally designed by Sloan and were used in several well known brand names toilets, including Kohler and American Standard. There should be phone number on the sticker pasted somewhere on the tank. If you call that number, they will help you.
