What motivates you to put forth your greatest effort? Describe a situation in which you did so

An honest answer. Lol
For me, I like accomplishing things and knowing that I did my best. So I'll put forth my greatest effort knowing the pride I'll get to take in it later. Like at work for example, I try to keep the section I'm in charge of kept as perfectly as possible whenever possible because I take pride in it. That's enough for me. Honestly, what motivates you?

I would be answering it in a way that would make me look the best for a particular job. My answer might vary some because of the position that answering it was for.

Integrity should motivate you to do your best. It's expected so you should give it. As for a personal situation well think back on a time when no one was watching and you still went the extra mile. It's easy to slack off when no one's looking but integrity should keep you on course.
