My ex boyfriend was recently got with five hundred dollars in fake money... I would like to know exactly what he will be facing at this point?

Was he making it?
Was he trying to purchase stuff with it?
Or did he just get caught with it on his person?

No he was not making it... he just got caught with it

Laws are different in every country and so are the penalties but it is a serious crime, and to give you an idea because I'm not a lawyer is to look at this.

Hopefully someone else that knows the law from wherever your from will give you a better idea when they come on.

If he knows where it came from, if he gives the DA that info it may be almost nothing.

How did he get it, that will be what the police will want to know.
He could expect prison time form this, esp if they turn it over to the Feds
