Call your public library's reference department to find out where property records are kept -- village or county, and if there is a historical museum in the area that might have information about your house. The library might even have a file on local hauntings and homes with a suspicious past.

just go to the tax assessors office, it is ublic acess, tell them youwant to see the tax record of your house, and it will list every year the tax wa paid, who paid it, the value of the house, etc, going back to day one when a building permit was issued. Most records are very acurate and in Utah, the history is only back until the 1840s at theearlies, and those records are definitely on file and free to you the present owner to view at anytime by federal law. Once you compiled all the names. Just do a last name search of murdered people in your town or city throug the court records, also public info, talk to old nieghbors, go to the library, the Hostory of Utah is well documented thorugh much effort of the LDS church , so you should have good luck.
