Hey. I'm 13. I just cut my hair today. Its now right above my bra line. And I wanted a cute easy new style to do. Because I'm always straightening my hair. I just want something different. It would be really awesome if it could be something like mousse and a blow-dryer. But if you have another idea I would still like to know. Please help. :D:D

My hair refuses to stay straight. So I gave up on that hope and go back and forth between using my straightner to either flip all of the ends so they curl under, or so that they all flip out. If you have layers sometimes you can make it flip outwards really nicely. And depending on your hair straightner you might even be able to use that to curl your hair. Mine is one of the thing ones with the rounded edges and its great for curling.

Curling hair is easy with straighteners if they are quite thin like ghd's or similar brands. Star from the roots and take a strand in the straighteners and twist it under then very slowly drag the straighteners down until you reach the end. Do this with as many strands as you want to create your desired look. Another method is to scrunch curling moose into wet hair and blow dry with those big diffuser things that you put on the end of the hair dryer. Scrunch while drying and once dry just take your fingers to define the curls.

If you want anything and not just curls, try a huge quiff at the front by backcombing your fringe area and clipping up.

Straighteners can eventually lead to hair damage. You can try it like this:

After a shower dry excess water from hair.
Put your hair in different sized rollers for the day or the night before. There are different types of rollers:

Velcro,

Foam,

OR flexi-rods/ hair twirlers.

Easy to use. All you need is maybe some leave in conditioner to tame frizz and maybe a tad bit of hairspray to hold the curls.

Asides from curlers you can also try [with damp hair]:
-section your hair
-put gel/ mousse on finger twirl hair with finger

So basically you'll be making ringlets with your fingers- it's pretty easy. I do it like this sometimes.

Good luck.
