I have a Harbor Breeze, Rutherford 52" #295002 fan that has an up-light. The light kit will hit my rice bed. Can I use the up-light without hooking up the light kit?

You can use the fan without the light kit but with not kit you get no light.

The question is, can the bottom light be removed? I doubt it but I would need to see a picture.
