I have a 650 series Craftsman lawnmower that bogs down.
I changed the spark plug, used the compressor to blow out the motor.
When I changed the plug, it ran like a scared rabbit, but just for about
A minute. Now it is back to being bogged down.
Any answers?
Suggestions?
Helpful hints...
Thanks,
Roebuck...

Not sure what bogs down actually means hear. Also what did you blow out ?

If the bog down means it started to smoke then its running to rich. If its not smoking then its running to lean. This could be dirt on the carb or a bad needle and seat valve that won't allow enough gas in the carb for when there's RPM demand on the engine the fuel simply isn't there to use from the low fuel in bowl.

Either or take the time and clean out the carb and make sure the float and needle and seat valve works. Only then you can be surer that its now air fuel mixture that needs tweaked.
