Hello
I have a 5 year old kenmore elite dryer Mod # 110 63932101 that will not heat. I read some of the answers for solving this problem but still feel it does not completely apply to my situation. I have physically pulled out the heat element and looked for breakage but it seems OK. I do not have an ohm meter but have used a circuit tester and checked continuation on both sides of the red wires on the element with a positive reading on both sides. Also I checked the termos the same way with continuation on both as well.
Still no heat. What should I check next on this dryer?

Volt meter would work better. If you have voltage to element and it doesn't heat, it is open.
Then If able to work safe with Electrical. Turn dryer on and measure voltage across thermals, if you read voltage across the 2 terminals, it is open.

The vent hose might be blocked; check it and remove any excess hose. That will help, and prevent overheating
