This morning I noticed that the hot water pressure was quite a bit lower then usual in the bathroom and kitchen sink. This evening the tub tap hardly produced any hot water. When the tap was switched to the shower the tap made a air sucking noise and the shower felt like it was blowing air before it sprinkle the hot water through . Can we fix this ourselves and how. Also how can we prevent this from happening again.
If this helps at the end of the shower yesterday the switch was hard to switch back to the tap
Thank you for your time

Do you have a gas or electric water heater? Anything special I should know about? Cheers, Tom

We have a gas wster heater. The pressure is a bit better today but not by much.

Yes! Special you say... well were were told by a plumber who came to fix the leek that our joints are on backwards and the water switch thing is to close to the water tank in the basement. Although we haven't had this big of a pressure loss before
