What is the difference between hair relaxer and hair texturizer (soft and beautiful brand) r they both damaging and does relaxer creams really makes a person lose hair especially when they get older?

Hair relaxers will soften or relax natural curls or waves but may not make hair completely straight. A protective base of petroleum cream is usually applied to prevent over processing, hair breakage or burning of the scalp and skin. If you leave the relaxer on too long, it can burn the scalp and cause the hair to fall out. When using hair relaxers, make sure to carefully follow the instructions.

A hair texturizer is a relaxer with less solution added, to relax the curl slightly. In other words, a hair texturizer can make your hair straight, but it will still have curls in it.
