When my cental air gets to the temp that I have it set on it will cut off and will not come back on with out me turning it off at the thermostat and sometimes I have to turn off and on several times before it will kick back on.. Would replacing my thermostat fix this problem?

My central air unit inside furnace started leaking water to the inside. Yesturday it as running but no air was blowing. Today the inside furnace switches on but only makes a buzzing noise a lot of water is leaking now also. Can some one answer this question. We are currently low on money and can not afford to have a specialist come out to tell me what it can be may be we can repair it ourselves. Thank you

The second question try cleaning you drain hose that's right above the furnace shut the furnace off then let it dry before trying it again make sure the hose all the way to the drain is clean if it still leaks you will need to call someone
