Hi I am 37 and have 2yr old twin boys. Does anyone have any tips on how to conceive a girl. I have read a few things but was hoping to find some extra info. I am very fertile and will only get one shot at it, and this will be the last. We love our boys but don't want to end up with a football team.:)

in order to increase the chances of having a girl, you should have sex everyday from the end of your period up to 2 1/2 to 3 days before ovulation. After this point, do not have unprotected sex until several days past ovulation.
Intercourse further away from ovulation favors the larger slower moving X (girl) sperm. The weaker Y (boy) sperm will die more quickly in the more acidic pre-ovulatory vaginal / cervical secretions and by the time of ovulation there will be a much larger concentration of X (girl) sperm available to fertilize the egg.

Scientifically, you have to cross your fingers to get a girl. It's truly the luck of the draw.

Hi thank you for your advice, great info silver lining, we will give that a go. Because I am so fertile I can get pregnant just days after a period, so I know that timing is imperative. I am ovulating right now so when we have sex he has to ejaculate outside first to expel all the boy sperm, then the second time is the one with all the girl sperm. Do you know if it has to be straight away or can there be a break? Or does the sperm replenish itself quickly?
I hope no-one takes this process my husband and I are doing the wrong way but we have one more shot at this and if we4 can do our bit to help mother nature then we will. If we get another boy, or even twin boys then we are doubly blessed and be eternally thankful, but to have a little girl would be wonderful.:)

Basically there is no scientific method, it is merely luck.

Thanks everyone for your advice and help. It has been fun trying out all these methods but we know that what will be will be and whatever sex is conceived it will be loved just as much as our other kids are. Children are a blessing however they come :)
